Melanie is perhaps the most experienced swim instructor in the network....having worked year-round for William Schwartz's swim academy in New York for 8 years. She was also a competitive swimmer through most of her youth and has a love for the water and for teaching others all aspects of swimming instruction and water safety. Like Samantha she has a personality that kids absolutely love and makes sure that her lessons are fun as well as constructive.

She has taught literally thousands of swim pupils in either small groups or in a one on one setting....with an age range from infant "mommy and me" classes to seniors in their 8th decade. She has taught non-swimmers how to overcome their fears and get their heads beneath the water, has taught advanced stroke refinement to competitive swimmers, and has taught all abilities between.

Her experience is matched by a great personality....with plenty of enthusiasm, patience, and a knack for motivating her pupils to achieve their goals.

Melanie teaches all ages and abilties, and is especially effective as an instructor with kids at the 2 to 8 age range and with parent and child or "mommy and me" lessons.

Aside from giving swim lessons Melanie is also a certified Yoga instructor and stationary bike exercise trainer.
