Courtney was trained by the highly decorated American swimmer Mary McLaughlin. She worked for Mary's swim school during most of her high school summers and was an apprentice under Mary during that time....soaking up Mary's knowledge about water safety and swim instruction techniques during that time.
Now a junior at LMU, Courtney is available for the 2010 summer season for in home swim lessons. She lives in Manhattan Beach and will travel to surrounding cities, including south to Palos Verdes and Rolling Hills, Redondo Beach, Torrance, and to any other city not mentioned within a 20 minute drive of Manhattan.
Says Courtney..."
I played water polo and swam on the swim team for 4 years in high school and played water polo for a year at LMU. In high school, I worked for the company Swim With Mary for four years. I have been teaching swim lessons for two years and I have taught swim team for four years. I really enjoy sharing the wonderful sport of swimming with little kids because I think it is something that you will have for the rest of your life! Swimming is a valuable life lesson that I think every child should learn!"
